This release introduces easier AutoCharge activation, improved charging guidance, Hybrid Chargers, new configuration options for white label deployments, and enhancements across payments, operator management, integrations, and the mobile charging experience.


What's new

1. Easier AutoCharge activation from the mobile app
Drivers can now enable AutoCharge directly from the mobile app when connecting to a charger that supports it.

When an eligible vehicle connects, the app can prompt the driver to enable AutoCharge for future sessions. Once enabled, compatible chargers can recognize the vehicle automatically, making future charging sessions faster and reducing the need for manual authentication.

This makes AutoCharge easier for drivers to discover and activate as part of their normal charging experience.

2. Animated reconnect guidance in the mobile app
The mobile app now provides clearer visual guidance when a driver needs to disconnect and reconnect the charging cable.

A dedicated flow with animation guides the user through the process, helping drivers resolve a common EV charging situation where the connection between the vehicle and charger needs to be reestablished before charging can begin.

This provides practical guidance directly in the app and makes it easier for drivers to get their charging session started.

3. Introducing Hybrid Chargers
White label partners can now enable Hybrid Chargers for deployments that combine private home charging with optional public charging.

Owners can use their charger privately and choose to enable public sharing when they want other drivers to access it. Charger details, location information, and public availability can be managed directly from the mobile app.

Hybrid Chargers are also integrated into the charger management experience in Spark, giving operators a dedicated way to deploy and manage charging setups that combine home and public charging.

4. More flexible billing configurations for white label deployments
EOSVOLT now supports additional billing configurations for white label deployments with more complex commercial requirements.

Depending on the deployment, billing can be configured with different pricing models, automated calculations, reporting workflows, and centralized financial management across multiple operators.

This gives white label partners greater flexibility to adapt EOSVOLT to their commercial model and organizational structure.

5. Staff Assisted and POS charging locations in the mobile app
The mobile app can now clearly indicate when a location uses Staff Assisted charging or a POS Terminal.

This gives drivers a better understanding of how charging works at the location and allows operators to represent a wider range of charging setups within their app.

6. GCash payment support through Swiftpass
White label partners operating in the Philippines can now offer GCash as a payment method through integration with Swiftpass.

This gives operators the option to provide drivers with a familiar local payment method as part of their white label charging experience.

7. Improved currency formatting across markets
Prices are now displayed using the appropriate currency symbols, number grouping, decimal separators, and symbol placement for each market.

This provides a more natural and consistent pricing experience for drivers across different currencies and countries.

8. Start free charging without a payment method
Drivers no longer need to add or select a payment method when charging is completely free.

This removes unnecessary steps from the charging flow at free charging locations and makes it quicker for drivers to start a session.

9. Clearer guidance when payments fail
Drivers now receive clearer information when a payment fails, times out, or cannot be completed because of a connection issue.

Updated messages help users understand what happened and what they can do next, creating a smoother payment experience when something goes wrong.

10. Faster connector loading in the mobile app
Connector information now begins loading as soon as a driver opens a location, making available connectors and charging information appear faster.

The loading experience has also been improved while connector information is being retrieved, creating a smoother transition into location and charger details.

11. Faster onboarding for new operators
Locations and chargers can now be prepared and assigned to new operators before they complete their account registration.

This allows larger networks and white label partners to configure infrastructure in advance, so new operators can get started faster once their account is activated.

12. Simplified charger onboarding across charger types
The charger creation flow now adapts automatically depending on the type of charger being added and where the creation flow is opened.

Only the settings relevant to the selected charger type and context are shown, making it easier to onboard Commercial Chargers, Home Chargers, Private Chargers, and Hybrid Chargers from one consistent workflow.

13. Enhanced Metropolitan Electricity Authority demand response integration
EOSVOLT has enhanced its existing integration with the Metropolitan Electricity Authority to strengthen support for operators participating in demand response programs in Thailand.

The improvements strengthen how EV charging infrastructure interacts with MEA demand response workflows, helping operators manage charging demand in line with local grid requirements and energy programs.

14. Flexible billing details across operator networks
White label partners managing multiple operators can now choose whether invoices use the billing details of the individual operator or the parent organization.

This provides greater flexibility for networks where billing is handled centrally while charging locations continue to operate under individual operators.

15. Centralized support details across operator networks
White label partners can now define support contact information centrally and use it across their operators.

New locations can automatically inherit the shared support details, reducing repetitive configuration and helping maintain consistent customer support information across larger charging networks.
