Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Overview

This guide explains how to add and link Charging Keys, Cars, and Drivers, and how to create Teams or Member Discounts. All configuration starts from Fleet, where you first choose between Internal or External fleet before managing each type of asset.

  2. Select Internal Fleet or External Fleet.
  3. Open the Charging Keys tab.
  4. Click Add New Keys.
  5. Enter the RFID code or MAC address, and optionally an alias.
  6. (Optional) Link the key to a driver or car.
  7. Click Save.
💡

Tip: Use clear and descriptive names such as Driver-Emma or Van-01 for easier tracking in reports.

Add Cars

  1. Go to Fleet.
  2. Select Internal Fleet or External Fleet.
  3. Open the Cars tab.
  4. Click Add New Car.
  5. Enter brand, model, and license plate, and optionally add notes or tags.
  6. Click Save.
💡

Tip: Once cars are added, you can link them to drivers or assign them to Teams or Member Discounts.

Add Drivers

  1. Go to Fleet → List of Drivers.
  2. Click Add New Driver.
  3. Enter the driver’s email address.
  4. (Optional) Link a Charge Key or Member Discount.
  5. Click Save.

📧 The driver receives an invitation email containing a redemption code. They must redeem it in the EOSVOLT app to activate their account and join the assigned fleet or group.

Create a Team or Member Discount

Depending on your billing setup, choose to create a Team (offline billing) or a Member Discount (in-app billing).

To create a Team

  1. Go to Fleet.
  2. Select Internal Fleet or External Fleet.
  3. Open the Teams tab.
  4. Click Add New Team.
  5. Assign drivers, charge keys, and allowed stations.
  6. Set pricing if needed and click Save.

  2. Select Internal Fleet or External Fleet.
  3. Open the Member Discounts tab.
  4. Click Add New Member Discount.
  5. Add drivers, choose locations, and define discounted pricing.
  6. Click Save.
💡

Tip: Teams are billed offline to the organization, while Member Discounts are paid directly by drivers in the app.

Add External Companies (Optional)

If you manage customer or partner fleets, you can create separate external company accounts.

  1. Go to Fleet Management.
  2. Enable the External toggle.
  3. Open List of Companies.
  4. Click Add New Company.
  5. Enter the Company name and Administrator email.
  6. Click Save.

Each external company can manage its own assets, Teams, and Member Discounts independently.

Verify Configuration

✅ Check that drivers and charge keys are properly linked. ✅ Confirm that Teams and Member Discounts have correct access and pricing rules. ✅ Test both offline (Team) and online (Member Discount) billing flows.

💡

Tip: Start with a small test setup before onboarding full fleets or external clients to verify billing and access control.

All Set

Your Fleet Management environment is now fully configured, supporting both Internal and External fleets with Teams, Member Discounts, and complete linkage between Charge Keys, Cars, and Drivers .
