Teams & Member discounts

A Fleet team and a Member discount both give a group its own locations and price. The company pays for a team, and the driver pays for a member discount in the app.

At a glance

• Teams: the teams of the fleet you picked, with the note that their charging is billed offline.
• Team Alias and Company: the team, and the customer it belongs to.
• Charge Keys and Drivers: the keys in the team and their drivers. A small icon by the keys means the team has a Spending limit.
• Locations and Price: where the team may charge, and at what price.
• Settings: icons for Skip booking fees and Require odometer reading.
• Total KWH & Sessions and Status: the team's charging, and whether it is active.

• Member discounts: the discounts, with the note that drivers pay in the app.
• Member Alias, Drivers and Locations: the discount, its drivers and where it applies.
• Price: the price the drivers pay, here 20 percent off the location's price.

Team or member discount

Create a fleet team

1. Open Teams and click Add new fleet team.
2. On Charge keys, pick the Company if you are under External, enter a Team Alias and pick the keys.
3. On Spending limit, choose Fixed amount if the keys should have a cap, and set it.
4. On Locations, pick where the team may charge.
5. On Pricing, choose how the team is priced.
6. On Settings, choose the options and the status, then click Save.

You can also type a new key value on the first step and press Enter to create it there.

Spending limits

The limit is the most each key in the team may spend in one period:

A Charge key that reaches its limit stops working until the reset. If you change the limit of an existing team, then every key gets the full new amount at once. The Spending limit column of Charging keys shows what each key has left.

Create a member discount

1. Open Member discounts and click Add new member discount.
2. On Drivers, enter a Discount Alias and pick the drivers, or type an email and press Enter to invite one.
3. On Locations, pick where the discount applies.
4. On Pricing, choose the price.
5. On Settings, choose Skip booking fees and the status, then click Save.

With Discount (%), the location's price is reduced by the percentage you enter. If the discount applies at one location only, then the lists show the price the drivers pay.

Pricing and settings

Charger access at semi-public locations

When you pick a Semi-public location on the Locations step, a Charger access choice appears for it:

• All chargers: the group may use every charger at the location.
• Selected chargers: tick the chargers the group may use. At least one must be ticked.

Members still see the location and all its chargers in the app. They can start only on the ones you ticked.

Public locations are open to everyone, so they have no such choice. In the lists, a location with selected chargers reads, for example, "Alpha Charge - Midtown Square (2 of its chargers)".

Common questions

Should I use a team or a member discount? Ask who pays. If the company settles the bill, then use a fleet team. If drivers pay in the app at a better price, then use a member discount.

How do I give drivers 20 percent off at one location? Create a member discount with those drivers and that location, and choose Discount (%) with 20. The location's price is reduced for them only.

Why did a charge key stop working mid month? Its team's spending limit is used up for the period. The key works again after the reset, or at once if you raise the limit.

Can a team charge anywhere? It charges at the locations picked on its Locations step. If no location is picked, then it may charge at every location of your account.

Can I give a group only some chargers at a site? Yes, at a semi-public location: choose Selected chargers under Charger access and tick them.
