Teams & Member Discounts

Overview

EOSVOLT gives you two flexible ways to organize and manage drivers within both Internal and External fleets:

1. Teams – for centrally billed groups (offline billing)
2. Member Discounts – for individual drivers who pay in the app (online billing)

Both options can be created inside either Internal or External Fleet sections.

Teams (Offline Billing)

Teams are used when the organization covers the cost of charging. They group drivers, vehicles, and charge keys under shared pricing and access rules.

What Teams Do

• Group drivers by department, site, or company
• Apply shared pricing, access, and policies
• Bill all charging sessions offline, directly to the company or organization

How to Create a Team

1. Go to Fleet in the top menu.
2. Select Internal Fleet or External Fleet.
3. Open the Teams tab.
4. Click Add New Team.
5. Enter a Team name.
6. Assign drivers and charge keys.
7. Define allowed charging stations.
8. Set custom pricing if required.
9. Click Save.

⚠️

Important: Charging sessions started by a Team are billed offline and not through the app. Charge keys cannot start sessions at locations that are not included in the allowed list.

Example:

Create an “Operations Team” for internal staff vehicles or a “Partner Fleet” for a managed client that receives a monthly invoice.

Member Discounts (Online Billing)

Member Discounts are used when drivers pay directly through the app. They let you define special rates for selected users and apply them automatically at checkout.

What Member Discounts Do

• Apply discounted charging rates automatically during in-app payment
• Work across both Internal and External Fleets
• Enable customer loyalty programs or employee benefit pricing

How to Create a Member Discount

1. Go to Fleet.
2. Select Internal Fleet or External Fleet.
3. Open the Member Discounts tab.
4. Click Add New Member Discount.
5. Enter a Discount name.
6. Add drivers and choose locations where the discount applies.
7. Set discounted pricing.
8. Click Save.

Payment flow:

The driver starts a session, EOSVOLT applies the discount, and payment is completed directly in the app.

Example: Offer discounted rates to tenants, partner fleets, or VIP customers who pay per session.
