Payment terminals
Let drivers pay by card at the charger without the app: which card terminals work with your chargers, how EOSVOLT adds one for you, and where terminal paid sessions show up.
A payment terminal lets drivers pay by card at the charger, without the app or an account. You do not set one up yourself: contact EOSVOLT, and EOSVOLT adds the terminal for you.
Supported terminals

OCPI is the standard that charging networks and payment services use to exchange sessions and payments.
Get a terminal for your chargers
- Contact EOSVOLT support or your account manager.
- Say which location or chargers the terminal is for, and which terminal you have or want.
EOSVOLT adds the terminal and links it to your account. You do not need to change any setting yourself.
What you see on a charger with a wired Nayax terminal
If a Nayax terminal is wired straight into the charger, then its settings show in the charger's form. Open the charger's menu on Charge points → Commercial chargers and click Edit to see them.

Both are filled in when the terminal is added for you. Leave them as they are, and contact support if the terminal is replaced or removed.
How a terminal payment works
- The driver taps their card on the terminal.
- An amount is reserved on the card, the pre-authorization.
- The session runs like any other.
- When the session ends, the real cost is taken and the rest of the reservation is released.
Terminal sessions in your session list
Sessions paid at a terminal are in Sessions like every other session. Filter the list with Payment method to see them, and open a session to see what was reserved and taken. A terminal session has no registered user.
Common questions
Can drivers charge without the app? Yes. At a charger with a payment terminal they tap a card and charge without an account.
Which terminals are supported? Payter, Nayax and Vourity. A Payter terminal serves a whole location. Nayax terminals work with and without OCPI, and Vourity terminals connect through OCPI.
How do I add a terminal to my charger? Contact EOSVOLT support or your account manager with the location or chargers and the terminal. EOSVOLT adds it for you.
How do I see which sessions were paid at a terminal? Filter Sessions with Payment method, then open a session to see its payment.
Why was a higher amount reserved on the driver's card? That is the pre-authorization. Only the real cost is taken when the session ends, and the driver's bank releases the rest.
