Session Intelligence

An AI assistant on every session's detail page: one click reads the charger's own event log for the session window and explains in plain language why a session failed, delivered 0 kWh, or behaved oddly, with a verdict, root cause, timeline, and follow-up questions.

Session Intelligence is a card on the Session details page (open any session via View Session Insights in the Sessions list, see the Session details guide). It reads the charger's event log for the session window together with the session's database record, and reconstructs what happened: how charging started, why it ended the way it did, and whether anything needs your attention.

Session Intelligence

Session Intelligence is an AI assistant built into the Session Details page. With one click it reads the charger's own event log for the session window together with the session's database record, and reconstructs what happened: how charging started, why it ended the way it did, and whether anything needs your attention.

Running an analysis

Click Analyse session logs on the Session Intelligence card. The analysis runs in the background and the results appear on the page, usually within a minute.

An analysis can be run when:

  • the session has finished (live sessions show "Analysis is available once this session finishes")
  • the session lasted under 24 hours from plug-in to disconnect
  • Session Intelligence is enabled for your organisation

Reading the results

The card presents its findings in plain language, most important first:

  • Session status: the assistant's overall verdict. Completed means a normal charge, Attention means something is worth a look, and Failed means the session did not deliver what it should have.
  • Key metrics: energy delivered, duration, and cost. These come straight from the session record, not from the AI, so they always match the rest of the page.
  • Root cause: when a session did not complete normally, the most likely explanation is shown first, followed by any additional observations.
  • Timeline: the key events of the session in order, shown in your local time, so you can follow the sequence from plug-in to the final outcome.
📊

Note

An analysis is stored with the session and shared with your colleagues: once one person has analysed a session, everyone else who opens it sees the same result instantly.

Asking follow-up questions

Below the results, use Ask a follow-up question to dig deeper in plain language, for example "why did the charger stop delivering power?" or "was the payment captured correctly?". The assistant answers from the same session log and record it used for the analysis, and will tell you plainly when the data does not support an answer.

A few practical notes:

  • Your conversation is private to you. Colleagues viewing the same session have their own thread.
  • For a complete, unabridged record of every event, use Download Session Log from the Sessions list. The assistant is built for interpretation, and will point you to the log download when a question calls for the full raw record.
💡

Tip

Start with sessions that ended with a failed status or a 0 kWh delivery. That's where Session Intelligence saves the most time compared to reading raw logs, and where its root-cause explanation is most valuable.

Common questions

How do I find out why a session failed or delivered 0 kWh?
Open the session's detail page and click Analyse session logs on the Session Intelligence card. The analysis usually completes within a minute and explains the most likely root cause in plain language.

Why can't I analyse a session?
Analysis is available once a session has finished, for sessions under 24 hours from plug-in to disconnect, and only when Session Intelligence is enabled for your organisation. The card tells you which condition applies.

Do my colleagues see my analysis?
The analysis itself is stored with the session and shared, once one person has analysed a session, everyone sees the same result. Your follow-up conversation is private to you; colleagues have their own thread.

Where do I get the complete raw event log?
Use Download Session Log from the Sessions list. The assistant is built for interpretation and will point you to the log download when a question needs the full record.
