Email delivery
A log of the transactional emails the platform sent on your behalf over the last 5 days, with the delivery status of each one, so "the customer says they never got it" becomes a question you can answer.
Confirmation codes, invoices, fleet and home charger invitations: all of them leave the platform on your behalf, and Email delivery is where you check what happened to them.
The log
Columns: Date, Recipient, Type, Subject and Status, covering the last 5 days. Filter by email type and status, or search by recipient email address.
Expand a row for a plain language explanation of what the status means and the raw response from the receiving mail server. Delivered rows include a spam folder hint, which is the answer in most "I got nothing" cases.
What the statuses mean
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Delivered | The receiving server accepted it. If the customer cannot see it, it is almost always in spam |
| Opened | It was opened |
| Clicked | A link in it was clicked |
| Permanent fail | The address does not exist or refuses mail permanently. Check the address for typos |
| Temporary fail | Something transient, such as a full mailbox or a server refusing mail for now. These are retried |
| Spam complaint | The recipient marked it as spam. Further mail to them may be suppressed |
| Unsubscribed | The recipient opted out |

Common questions
A customer says they never received their confirmation code or invoice. How do I check? Search their email address here. The status tells you whether it was delivered, opened or failed, and delivered but unseen almost always means the spam folder.
Why does the log only cover 5 days? It is a troubleshooting tool for "did this arrive", which is a question people ask within hours, not weeks.
The email says Delivered but the customer insists nothing arrived. Delivered means their mail server accepted it. Ask them to check spam and any filtering rules. If it is a company address, their IT filter is the next place to look.
What do I do about a Permanent fail? Check the address for a typo and correct it on the customer's record. A permanent failure means that address will not accept mail no matter how many times you resend.
An admin is not receiving fault alerts. Check Notification settings first to confirm they are subscribed to that alert type and location, then search their address here to see whether the email was sent.
