Fleet Manager dashboard

An external fleet company's own administrator, the fleet manager, does not land on your operator dashboard when they log in. They get a Dashboard of their own, covering their company's charging only: what it cost this month, how much energy went into the vehicles, how much prepaid balance is left, and who is spending it.

This page describes what they see, so you can answer questions about it without logging in as them.

Where it sits

Dashboard is the first item in the fleet manager's left menu, and it is also where logging in takes them. Their Fleet menu item still holds the familiar tabs for teams, member discounts, drivers and, on prepaid companies, the balance.

Everything on the page is scoped to that one company, and to exactly the same sessions the company's Fleet sessions table shows.

The Summary card

Summary carries the month's headline figures, with a month picker in its corner. Changing the month changes the whole card and the graphs below it.

• Sessions, with "{n} in progress" while vehicles are still plugged in, and "{n} paid by drivers" when some sessions were paid personally.
• kWh charged.
• Charging cost, paid by company: what the company itself paid for. Sessions a driver paid with their own card are left out of every cost figure.
• Booking fees paid and Idle fees paid, each standing on its own rather than hiding inside the charging cost.
• Drivers active, which also notes how many of the company's drivers had no session at all that month.

Each figure carries a movement chip against the month before. While the current month is still running it is compared with the same days of the previous month, not a whole month, so a fleet manager opening the page on the 7th is not shown a collapse. Hovering the chip says what was compared, normally "Compared with the previous month".

The Balance card

Prepaid companies get a Balance card beside the summary. It is not tied to the month picker: it always describes the situation right now.

• The amount currently spendable, labelled "available, prepaid".
• "Last top-up {amount} on {date}".
• An estimate of how long the money lasts: "At this month's pace the balance covers N more days", with a bar that fills up to about a month of cover.
• A Top up link straight into the company's own balance page.

Companies on offline billing have no Balance card at all.

Sustainability

The Sustainability card is an estimate, marked as one, and is also independent of the month picker:

• CO2 avoided this year, from 1 January to today.
• Litres of fuel not burned over the same period.
• What that is worth against petrol, shown only when the fuel price on file is in the company's own currency.
• An All time line with the CO2 figure over the company's whole history.

The estimate comes from standard factors rather than per-session measurements, which the card states when you hover it.

The graphs

Below the cards is one widget with four tabs: Consumption, Cost, Sessions and Ranking.

The three graph tabs share the same controls:

• A period choice of Last 7 days, Week view, Month view or Year view, with arrows to step back through earlier periods.
• Paid by, reading "Paid by: Company", with Company, Drivers and Both to choose from. Cost starts on Company; Consumption and Sessions start on Both. The control only appears for a company that has actually had driver-paid sessions, since otherwise both answers are the same figure.

Sessions still running are left out of the graphs. They are counted in the Summary card instead.

Ranking

Ranking answers "who is spending this". Pick what to rank by, Driver, Team, Vehicle or Location, and what to rank on, Cost, kWh or Sessions.

• The ten biggest rows are drawn as a bar chart, sorted on the metric chosen.
• Everything else is gathered into one line at the bottom, for example "The other 12 drivers spent {amount}, {percent}% of the month".
• Rows whose sessions have not been priced yet read "not priced yet, sessions still running" instead of showing a zero.
• Show all {n} opens the full searchable list, with a Name, Cost, Sessions and Share column, and Hide the full list closes it again.

On a Team ranking the bar's tooltip also shows that team's configured spending limit, so a fleet manager can see the month's spend against the cap they set.

Recent fleet sessions

The page ends with Recent fleet sessions, the company's latest charging in the same columns as the Fleet sessions table, and an All fleet sessions link into the full list.

Common questions

Why does the fleet manager see a different dashboard than I do?
Because theirs is scoped to one company. A fleet manager never sees your locations, pricing, finances or other customers, so a cost and consumption view of their own fleet is what the page gives them instead.

Why is the charging cost lower than the fleet manager expected?
Charging cost counts only what the company paid for. Sessions a driver put on their own card, including sessions under a member discount, are left out and appear only as the "paid by drivers" note on the Sessions figure.

Why is there no Balance card?
The company is on offline billing. The card appears only for companies billed prepaid, see Fleet Wallet.

Are the CO2 and fuel figures measured?
No, they are an estimate from standard conversion factors, which is why the card is labelled as an estimate. Treat them as an indication, not as a reportable measurement.

Why does a ranking row show no cost?
Its sessions are still running, so nothing has been priced yet. The row keeps its place in the list and fills in once those sessions finish.

Can a fleet manager change what the page shows?
Only the month, the period, the Paid by choice and what the Ranking is built from. Everything else follows the company's own setup, which stays with you as the operator.
