Language and your profile

Set the language Spark shows you, and keep your own name, email and password up to date on the Profile page.

Spark is available in several languages, and the one you pick is yours alone: it follows your login, not your company. This page covers where to change it and how to keep the rest of your own account details current.

Changing the language

You can switch language in three places, and all three set the same thing:

  • The language switcher in the top bar, available on every page once you are signed in. This is the quickest way, and the page redraws straight away.
  • Your Profile page, on the Language row. The hint under the field says Used on every device you sign in on, which is exactly what it does.
  • The sign-up form, when you first register. The Language field there is filled in from your browser, marked Suggested from your browser, and you can change it before you finish signing up.

The list offers the languages available to your organisation. If your account only has one, the switcher is not shown.

Note

Your choice is saved on your account, so it is waiting for you on your phone, your laptop and any browser you sign in from. It does not change what your colleagues see.

Your profile

Open the user menu in the top right corner and choose Profile. The page has two blocks.

Account

  • Name: your first and last name, as your colleagues see it.
  • Email: the address you sign in with.
  • Language: covered above.

Security

  • Password: shown masked, with a Change action.

Editing a row

  1. Click the action at the end of the row you want to change.
  2. The row opens into a small form in place, with the rest of the page untouched.
  3. Click Save to keep the change, or Cancel to drop it.

A short Saved. confirmation appears next to the buttons when the change goes through.

If your email address has not been confirmed yet, the Email row says so and offers a link to send the verification email again.

Common questions

How do I change the language of my dashboard?
Use the language switcher in the top bar on any page, or open Profile and edit the Language row. The choice is saved on your account and applies everywhere you sign in.

Can I set the language for my whole team?
No. Each admin picks their own, so people in the same company can work in different languages.

How do I change my password?
Open Profile, and on the Password row under Security click Change. Enter the new password and click Save.
