Push Notifications

Send push notification campaigns to the drivers using your branded app: write the message, build the audience with conditions, send immediately or schedule for later, and track delivery per campaign.

💡

Notice

Push Notifications is available for White Label partners, operators with their own branded driver app. The module is enabled per operator by EOSVOLT. If you don't see the tab and want to use it, contact support.

The Notifications tab in the Customers menu lists every campaign you have created and is where new ones are sent. A campaign reaches drivers as a push notification on their phone and also appears in the app's notification inbox.

The campaign list

Each row shows the campaign's Title, Message, Audience (the conditions it targets), Exclusions, Created date, Schedule (the send time, or the moment it went out), and Status. Use the search bar to find a campaign by title, and the Status and Type filters to narrow the list to, for example, scheduled campaigns that haven't gone out yet.

A campaign moves through these statuses:

  • Pending: created but not yet sent, either scheduled for later or waiting its turn.
  • In progress: currently being delivered. Delivery runs in batches, so large audiences take a few minutes.
  • Completed: delivered. Hover the status to see how many recipients were reached.
  • Failed: delivery could not be completed. Contact support if a campaign fails repeatedly.
  • Cancelled: stopped before or during delivery.

Send a notification

Click Send notification to open the three-step wizard.

Step 1: Content

  • Title: up to 50 characters. This is the bold headline of the push notification.
  • Message: up to 120 characters. Short messages display best on lock screens.
  • Schedule: choose Send immediately to deliver as soon as you complete all steps, or Schedule for later and pick a date and time.

Step 2: Audience

Build the audience with include conditions. A driver receives the notification when they match all of the conditions you add:

  • All users: every registered app user.
  • Selected users: specific customers, searched by name or email.
  • Charged at location(s): users who have charged at the locations you pick.
  • Member discount: users holding one of the selected member discounts.
  • Fleet team: drivers in the selected fleet teams.
  • Wallet activated: users who have activated their in-app wallet.

You can also add an exclude condition to leave specific customers out, whatever the include conditions say.

The Audience size counter at the bottom of the step updates live as you add conditions, showing how many users currently match out of your total user base. The audience is evaluated again at the moment of sending, so a scheduled campaign picks up users who start matching between creation and delivery.

Step 3: Summary

Review the content, schedule, and audience, then click Send. An immediate campaign starts delivering right away; a scheduled one waits as Pending until its send time.

Edit, delete, or cancel a campaign

Open the row menu (the three dots at the end of a row):

  • A Pending campaign can be edited (the same three steps reopen with everything filled in) or deleted. Editing does not use up your sending allowance.
  • An In progress campaign offers Cancel remaining, which stops delivery to the users not yet reached. Already delivered notifications cannot be recalled.
  • Completed, failed, and cancelled campaigns are kept for reference and cannot be changed.

Sending allowance

Each operator can create up to 5 campaigns per 24 hours (a rolling window, not a calendar day). The wizard shows your current allowance from the first step, for example "2 of 5 notifications used in the last 24 hours", and the Send button is disabled once it is spent. Cancelling a campaign does not return its slot; editing an existing campaign is always free.

Operating for multiple operators

If you run several operators under one account, the location, team, and discount pickers group their entries per operator, and typing an operator's name narrows the list to that operator's entries. Each campaign still goes to the app users of the account it was created for.

Common questions

Why don't I see the Notifications tab?
Push Notifications is available for White Label partners and is enabled per operator by EOSVOLT. Contact support to have it switched on for your account.

Can I send a notification to a single customer?
Yes. Use the Selected users condition in the audience step and pick the customer by name or email.

Can I change a scheduled notification before it goes out?
Yes. While it is Pending, open the row menu and choose Edit. The wizard reopens with the content, schedule, and audience filled in.

How do I stop a notification that is being sent?
Open the row menu on the In progress campaign and choose Cancel remaining. Users not yet reached will not receive it; notifications already delivered cannot be taken back.

Why is the audience count different from when I created the campaign?
The audience is evaluated at send time. Users who registered, charged at a targeted location, or joined a team after you created the campaign are included if they match then.

How many notifications can I send?
Up to 5 campaigns per rolling 24 hours. The wizard shows how much of the allowance is used; it frees up as earlier campaigns fall out of the 24-hour window.

Do drivers see the notification anywhere besides the push message?
Yes, every campaign also appears in the notification inbox inside the app, so drivers who dismissed the push can still read it.
