Session details

The full record of a single charging session: the summary bar, the charging/user/payment/charger cards, and the Session Intelligence analysis, opened via View Session Insights from the Sessions list.

Selecting View Session Insights on any session opens its detail page, a complete record of a single charge. At the top, a summary bar shows the session at a glance: Session ID, date, type, user, location, charging duration, kWh charged, status, price per kWh, and total.

Below the summary, the page is organised into four cards:

Selecting View Session Insights opens the session's detail page, a complete record of a single charge. At the top, a summary bar shows the session at a glance: Session ID, date, type, user, location, charging duration, kWh charged, status, price per kWh, and total.

Below the summary, the page is organised into four cards:

Charging details

The physical story of the charge: location and operator, connected and disconnected times, charging start and charging end, and three separate durations that together explain how the plug time was spent:

  • Charging duration: the time energy was actually being delivered.
  • Plug in duration: the full time the cable was connected.
  • Idle duration: connected time after charging finished, which is what idle fees are based on.

This card also shows kWh charged, the battery's start and end state of charge (when the vehicle reports it), the time zone the session took place in, and any booked time slots.

User

Who charged: the user's ID, email, and name, plus the app they used, its version, and their phone platform. This is often the fastest route from a support ticket to the right session.

Payment

The complete money trail for the session: payment method and strategy, the pre-authorized amount and when it was authorized and released, the charged and refunded amounts, price per unit, any discount, platform and booking fees, idle fees (walk-in and booking are listed separately), subtotal, VAT, and the final total.

Tip

When a driver disputes a charge, this card answers most questions on its own: what was reserved on their card, what was actually captured, and how the total was built up fee by fee.

Charger

The hardware involved: serial number, charger type, plug ID and plug type, brand and model, alias, and the firmware version the charger was running at the time.

Session Intelligence

This page also hosts Session Intelligence: an AI assistant that reads the charger's own event log for the session window and explains what happened: how charging started, why it ended the way it did, and whether anything needs your attention. It has its own guide: see Session Intelligence.

Common questions

When a driver disputes a charge, where do I look? The Payment card: it shows what was reserved on their card, what was captured, any refund, and how the total was built up fee by fee.

Why are there three different durations? Charging duration is the time energy actually flowed; plug in duration is the full time the cable was connected; idle duration is connected time after charging finished, which is what idle fees are based on.

How do I find out why this session failed? Click Analyse session logs on the Session Intelligence card, see the Session Intelligence guide.

Where do I see which app version the driver used? The User card shows the app, its version, and the phone platform.
